Sorry to hear the news about Terry . To me he had the exterior of a tough guy but inside he was a nice , caring and a good friend to us all ! Very intelligent , he acheived in my opinion the highest goal we were all trained for at KP , that is , he became a Master Mariner and sailed in that capacity for many years ! I always admired him for that ! I will pray for Terry and his family !
Terry was my first room mate at KP. 4th Company. Quite a pair, this little old country boy from Bucks County, PA and Terry Stark from Staten Island. His street wisdom and sense of humor got me thru the first few months as a plebe. He was destined to become a great mariner. Nothing but great memories!

Terrence Joseph Stark, 67, of Ocean Park, Wash., passed away on Saturday, Jan. 25, 2020.
Terry leaves behind a legacy of kindness. He was an incredibly loving father, husband, brother, and friend. His memory will forever be carried in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Terry is survived by his spouse, Linda Nackerud Stark; daughters, Amanda Stark and Kendra Stark; stepson, Jonah Cross; brothers, William Stark and Dennis Stark, and sister, Mary Stark Naylor.
A memorial service for Terry will be held Monday, Feb. 10, 2020, at 5 p.m., at The Lost Roo, 1700 Pacific Ave. S., Long Beach, Wash. 98631.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Terry's name may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
